The Continuous Improvement Facilitator will lead TVS (Lean) Kaizens and Strategic Alignment initiatives to drive culture change and continuous improvement. As part of the continuous improvement process, this person will utilize Lean tools to ultimately reduce process cycle time, improve quality, and drive productivity.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Our focus is on transactional Lean processes in our corporate office.  At present, we are not focusing on manufacturing, factory or distribution Lean experts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate continuous improvement through oversight, planning, value stream mapping, and facilitating of Kaizens and projects in order to drive sustainable results
     
  • Implement Strategy Alignment structure and monitor its effectiveness.
     
  • Mentor leadership in sustaining TVS cultural transformation.
     
  • Conduct sustainment audits and reviews of process implementations
     
  • Monitor process performance using visual management strategies to verify impact of continuous improvement efforts
     
  • Conduct training in all phases of lean principles.
     
  • Drive measurable improvements in productivity and flow.
  • Job Requirements
    Essential Skills:
    • Proficiency with Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies acquired through formal training and/or direct work experience
       
    • Demonstrated team leadership and project management skills
       
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
       
    • Ability to work independently, positively handle conflict, and work in a fast paced environment.
       
    • High skill level with the Microsoft suite of software tools
       
    • Strong facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and teaching skills
       
    • Executive level presentation skills
       
    • Ability to work overtime and travel up to 10%.
       
    Education Requirements
    Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in business or engineering
     
  • Minimum of 3 years experience implementing LEAN/Six Sigma and utilizing visual management
     
  • Background in Transactional process improvement preferred
     
  • Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
