Project Manager, Enterprise Transformation II (Job ID #1749)
Under general supervision, leads enterprise-wide process improvement projects, data analytic projects, and/or initiatives focusing on measuring, analyzing and improving business performance by initiating or capturing project requirements, executing the project meeting these requirements, and successfully closing out. Provides strategic recommendations and decision making support to business unit leadership. Works with leadership to design, develop and deploy metrics and data analytics to maximize the benefits to the Business Units.
PREFERENCES:
Join a small group of Continuous Improvement professionals striving to improve the PNMR's processes and ultimately business performance. Preferred candidates will have at least one certification in either Lean, 6 Sigma, or Project Management. Candidates should be comfortable leading Continuous Improvement Projects and providing training/mentoring of employees as they improve business processes.
Relocation is not authorized for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages multiple medium-to-large scale, complex, and high profile projects from start to completion
Utilizes process improvement tools and methods such as Lean and 6 Sigma to successfully execute projects
Matrix manages cross-functional teams with diverse skill sets and subject matter experts to bring projects to a successful close
Monitors project progress, status and risk using conventional project management methods appropriate for scale and complexity
Provides leadership on statistical, modeling, and business analytics for assigned project teams
Provides consolidated view of analytics for operations within a business unit to facilitate information-based strategic planning, process improvement, and metrics development
Recommends, implements, and drives changes to business systems and processes
Analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data and recommends action plans to improve business process results
Represents the company at forums and conferences
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university with six to seven years of related experience with project mining, consulting, and fundamental analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience related to the discipline.
One or any combination of the following types of certifications is preferred: Six Sigma, Lean, CIS, or CQA.
